This website is extremely serene. There are several places on the web people refer to as 'checkpoints' - areas where everybody has left their marks to be read by those who visit them in the future. The indie web, in many ways, is full of these checkpoints. At first, the indie web may feel a little dead - no immediate content delivery. What you see is always asynchronous with what everybody else sees. But there's something really beautiful about that, in a way. Little places interlinked with 88x31 buttons. No algorithms to direct traffic, just human curiosity. You stumble from site to site, until you stumble into a place like this. And you just have to smile when you do. The internet never sleeps. Have a great one!

This is a beautiful website. Heck yeah! Started my journey on a Neocities website about 4 days ago. Everytime I was about to shut down my computer, I bookmarked the site I was on, then continued the next day. I don't know what number site this is that I've visited, but the beginning website was Starshift's Wonderful Knowledge Emporium on Neocities and is also one of the first sites I visited on Neocities & the first I've visited of the "personal website" kind in general. Anyways, I hope the website owner, people who've been here and will come here, are having a grand time and will continue to have good times! Nothing can drag you down! By the way, now that I think about it, if you want to do the same "site-to-site adventure & bookmarking" thing, I'd HIGHLY recommend to keep an adventure journal with chapters per day. Something new a day is pretty good for the mind. -FleetCore
